So you think you know your sport?…well Tom Hunt is a man who can certainly claim to Know His Sport!
These days Tom is probably best known for his voluntary work as PRO of Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Club, but aside from that role which Tom fulfills with great dedication and precision, there is so much more to this Waterford man who came to live in Mullingar over 45 years ago.
From playing in goals for the Waterford senior footballers to winning a Sigerson Cup medal with UCD, from winning senior football championships with Mullingar Shamrocks GAA team to winning a Counties Cup medal with Mullingar Town soccer team, from representing Westmeath GAA at Leinster Council to writing books, from being awarded a doctorate, to winning national sports quizes, yes, Waterford native Tom Hunt has amassed a lifetime of sporting memories.
