Two local farmers from Tyrrellspass, Gordon and Yvonne Johnston, have been named Sheep Farmers of the Year at the prestigious Farmer of the Year Awards which were held recently in Dublin.
The Zurich Farming Independent Farmer of the Year Awards, which took place for the first time this year, were developed to formally recognise the best farmers throughout the country.
