“I was really surprised. I got an email a few months ago telling that I was nominated and asking me a few details about the shop. I’m not even open a year so I was really shocked when I found out.” said a clearly delighted Eibhlin Fitzpatrick owner of the Refill Mill, Tyrrellspass when she spoke to Topic this week about scooping a prestigious accolade- Leinster Eco Retailer of the Year 2021 in the fourth annual Irish Enterprise Awards.

It’s only been open since April last year but the Refill Mill has made a splash with customers who are big on thinking green.

The minimal waste refill shop selling dried foods, handmade soaps and cleaning refills and also has a wide range of sustainable alternatives to every day products, making going plastic free easy- a concept that has gone down a storm with eco-conscious shoppers.
