Work has begun on fitting out the new Guineys Department Store on Castle Street in Mullingar with a view to a spring opening in either February or March. ‘Get It At Guineys’ posters have been erected on site in the past week as excitement mounts in Mullingar about the major new department store, which is set to give the town centre a considerable boost.
