Regardless of the quality of the opposition the Westmeath senior footballers turned in one of their best displays ever as they comprehensively beat Antrim by 31 points in their Allianz League Division 3 game played in TEG Cusack Park last Sunday afternoon.
There is no getting away from the fact that Antrim on the day were extremely poor, but Westmeath were also ruthless as they racked up an impressive total of 4-27 to Antrim’s 0-8.
