Coláiste Muire teacher Eva Acton received an Excellence Award for her contribution to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) at the BT Young Scientist Exhibition on Friday, 12 January.
The Analog Devices Technology of Excellence Award was presented to Ms Acton during the exhibition. She was honoured for her success in making science at senior level more accessible to students at Coláiste Mhuire. This was the second time she has received the award which she also claimed in 2020. Nominees are only eligible for the prize once every four years, so it’s two-from-two for the teacher.
