Mullingar Harbour Canoe Polo Club finally returned home after spending three nights stranded in Lithuania last week. The club took a group of nearly 40 members to Alytus, Lithuania to play an international tournament of canoe polo and were due to fly back on Monday, 19 February. However, a short-notice Lufthansa strike meant the group, which included 28 children, stayed in Lithuania for three more nights. They returned home on Thursday, 22 February.
