Just 11 dumping fines were issued in the Mullingar-Kinnegad district throughout the whole of 2022, leading Cllr Aoife Davitt to suggest that Westmeath County Council is “allowing dumping”.
The news came in response to a question by the Fianna Fáil councillor at the Mullingar Kinnegad Municipal District meeting on Monday, 13 March.
