Mullingar community celebrates diversity

The Mullingar Traveller community turned out in droves last week for a celebration of culture at the Grange Community Centre, Friday, 21 July.

On show was a traditional Traveller wagon, parts of which were over 150 years old, a reconstruction of a traditional ‘bender tent’ and a display of Traveller tin smithing.
