THE new Primary Care Centre at present nearing completion in Mullingar, at Loreto Road (Harbour Road) is expected to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2017, Cllr. Michael Dollard, Mullingar, has been informed.
He raised the issue at the monthly meeting in Tullamore of the HSE Regional Health Forum for Dublin-Mid Leinster region, asking when they envisaged that the new Primary Care building will be opened.
The reply to Cllr. Dollard stated: “Mullingar Primary Care Centre is at the building stage and is expected to be operational in quarter of 2017.
“The services included are General Practitioner facilities. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Primary Care Social Work Services, Public Health Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, Primary Care Counselling, Psychology, Dental, Mental Health and Civil Registration,” the reply concluded.
