Horseleap native Conor Galvin is set to take over as Ornua Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in May 2024. Mr Galvin is currently the CEO of Dairygold Cooperative Society and his appointment was announced on Wednesday, 7 February. He has held a number of leadership roles at Dairygold since he joined in 2014 and became CEO of the firm in January 2022. Before he joined Dairygold, he was Finance Director with DCC’s Food & Beverage division and held a role as Country Finance Manager with Procter & Gamble in Ireland.
Mr Galvin comes from a farming background in Westmeath and is a science graduate from University College Dublin. He holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School and is a qualified accountant. The Horseleap native commented on his appointment:
