In what he has descried as a “tremendous honour”, Mullingar man Tom Gunn took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the historic Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia last Thursday, St Patrick’s Day.
Mr Gunn was in the U.S. last week as part of a visit by the 2 Infantry Battalion Veteran Association.
