There was great success for one Mullingar-based choir at the the City of Derry International Choir Festival, which took place from 18 to 22 October.
Lynn Singers, an upper voice choir based in Mullingar, came away with two major awards at the prestigious event, with a first place in the ‘Sacred and Gospel’ section, and topping that achievement with an overall win in the ‘Choir of the Festival award’.
