After reaching an 254th place out of the over 7,000 entries in Sir Richard Branson’s Voom 2016 competition, Stephen Bennett has been given an accolade by another prestigious business.
Stephen, creator of Fanstream – a video platform that provides fans with quality videos of their favourite bands’ live performances – was notified this week that he has been shortlisted for the InterTradeIreland Seedcorn competition which offers a share of €280,000 cash prize fund.
As well as cash prizes, the competition helps companies make their business investor ready and improve their chances of securing venture funding.
Stephen, who has been working full-time on his Fanstream project for two years now and runs the business from his home in Loughnavalley, recently used the the programme to livestream events from the Bealtaine festival on the Hill of Uisneach.
