A dominant second-half display saw Westmeath comprehensively defeat their near neighbours Longford in the National Football League Division 3 clash at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park on Sunday afternoon.
There was one point between the sides at the break with Longford just ahead, but Westmeath were a different proposition in the second-half. They were ruthless and clinical in front of the posts while Longford were just toothless.
