A 12-year-old boy was left lying on the side of the road waiting for an ambulance for almost 90 minutes, following a bicycle accident near his home in Rathwire on Monday, 26 June.
The incident was brought to the attention of the Westmeath Topic by a member of the public who was on the scene shortly after the incident occurred.
