Westmeath has the fewest remote working hubs in Ireland according to figures released to Aontú by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment on 8 February. There are three remote working hubs in Westmeath. Two are located in Mullingar — the e-working Centre on Mount Street and the Midlands Business Hub above Chocolate Brown on Dominick Street There is one remote working hub in Athlone and there are eight community hubs or Broadband Connection Points (BCPs).
