Eleven different scorers helped Westmeath to comfortably dispatch of a mid-strength Laois team in the final round of group stage fixtures for the 2024 Joe McDonagh Cup in TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar last Saturday afternoon.
Neither side entered with anything meaningful to play for in terms of progression in the competition and it showed for Laois as they rested more than half of their usual brigade.
