IT’S time to dust down that checkered shirt and pull out those blue jeans for the second annual Cullion Community Barn Dance which will take place at the Cullion Showgrounds on Saturday, 19 July.
Following on from the success of the inaugural Cullion Community Barn Dance last summer, this year’s event is jam-packed with great entertainment. Local band Good Man Sheila are guaranteed to get you dancing heel, step and toe on the night, and there will be many sideshows for amusement such as ducking and a tug-o-war. Bring your appetite with you on the night as there will be a barbecue on the night! And if that wasn’t enough excitement, there will also be prizes up for grabs on the night for the best dressed cowboy and cowgirl! So make sure you come in costume and are in with a chance to win some great prizes. The events kick off at 8.30 p.m. when two sides battle it out on the tug-o-war, followed by a night of great fun at Cullion’s Community Barn Dance. Tickets to this year’s dance are a steal at just €10.
